HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1968-0360 C� EUCTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH HENNEPIN COUNTY, MI"NESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, vas held on the 19th day of February, 1968, at the Village Hall, 13800 State Highway No. 55 commencing at 7:30 o'clock P.M. The following members were present: -tayor Hilde, Councilmen O'Fallon, Humphrey, Hagen and Hunt; and the following were absent: None. Councilman Humphrey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 68-36 A RESOLUTION DECLARING PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND PUBLIC NECESSITY WHEREAS, Alfred V. Hav, owner and operator of Radio Cab Company. has applied for a determination that it is a matter of public convenience and necessity that a taxi cab license be issued to him, and WHEREAS, the Village Council, after due consideration, has determined that the publice convenience and necessity would best be served by the issuance of such 1 -cense, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYM UTH AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth do hereby find that the issuance of a license for the operation of taxi cabs within the Village by Alfred W. Hay, owner and operator of Radio Cab Company, is a matter of public convenience and necassity for the residents of the Village of Plymouth. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen O'Fallon, Humphrey, Hagen and Hunt; and the following voted against: None. VIhereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
