COUNCIL OF VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of. the Village of Plymouth was held on February 5, 196R, at the Village Hall, 13800 State Highway 55 commencing at 7:30 o'clock P.M. The Following members were present: Mayor I1ilde, Councilmen O'Fallon, Hagen and Hunt; and the following members were absent: None. Councilman O'Fallon introduces the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTLON NO. 68-29 WHEREAS, pursuant to a due and proper notice according to law, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was held at the Village Hall, 13800 State Highway 55 on the 5th day of February, 1968, to consider policy and procedure to be adopted by the Village regarding proper% assessment practices to be applied to street improvement corner lot assessments, and WHEREAS, the desire of the Council is to adopt policies and procedures in strict conformity with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, anc therefore to provide the most equitable policy of assessment in each individual situation, NOW, THEREFORE RE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: That this method is hereby adopted to most equitably assess all benefitted property owners and particularly to provide assessment procedures to be implemented in the following situations: 1. On corner lots, there shall be a full assessment on the shortest lot dimension and an assessment of one-half the length of the longest lot dimension. 2. If only the longest lot dimension is surfaced, one-half of that lot dimension shall be assessed with the assessment on the shorter lot dimension to be levied at the time that it is suraced„ The motion was seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen O'Fallon, Bagen and Hunt; and the following voted against: None; and the following members were absent: None. :'hereupon said resolution was declared to be duly passed and adopted.
