HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1968-0241 0 VILLAGE JF PLYMOUTH 'ursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was held on the 5th day of February, 1968, at the Village Hall commencing at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen O'Fallon, Hagen and Hunt; and the following members were absent: Councilman Duntley. Councilman Hagen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 68-24 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING RESIGNATION OF COUNCILMAN DUNTLEY AND DECLARING A VACANCY TO EXIST ON VILLAGE COUNCIL WHEREAS, Councilman John Duntley has tendered his resignation dated February 4, 1968, effective immediately, and WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that the Council take action on said resignation; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the resignation of Councilman John Duntley be acdepted by the Village Council, effective immediately and that Councilman Duntley be commended for the outstanding job as councilman and pr&or to that in Village affairs. je 2. That the Village Council declare and it does hereby declare that a vacancy exists in the office of Councilman on the Plymouth Village Council. The above motion was seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen O'Fallon, Hagen and Hunt. Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. -w
