HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1968-012• w VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RESMUTION t ID Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular ( meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 8th day of January , 19 68 The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen O'Fallon, Hagen and Hunt. and the following members were absent: Councilman Duntley. * * * * * * Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 68-1.2 WHEREAS, pursuant to an adversi3ement for bids for the tmpeaamnc purchase of one used street sweeper. by bids wera received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement. Amount of Bidder Total Bid Hall Equipment $2,850.00 MacQueen Equipment 2,250.00 MacQueen Equipment 1,800.00 and, WHEREAS, it appears that Hall Equipment Company of Minneapolis. Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COIDTCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 111. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Hall Equipment PIPE Of Mina lis Minnesota IF e name o e ge o u or e the purchase of one used street sweeper. 10 by according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Clerk. 2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed." The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resoluticn was duly seconded by Councijg= Hasen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen O'Fallon, Hagen and Hunt. The following voted against the same: Hone. The following were (absent) Councilman Duntley. whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk -Administrator of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular - special meeting of the Village Council of said village held.
