Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Plymouth was '.eld on the 8th day of January, 1968, at
the Village Hall commencing at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following member^ were
present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen O'Fallon, Hagen and Hunt; and the following
members were absent: Councilman Duntley.
Mayor Hilde introduced tree following resolution and moved its adoption:

RESOLUTION DCSIGNATING COUNCILMAN
RICHARD J. O'FAiLON AS ACTING
• MAYOR IN THE ABSENCE OF THE MAYOR
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 201 of Ordinance No. 63-3,
it is required that at the first meeting in January of each year, the
Council shall choose an acting `!ayor from among the Councilmen to perform the
duties of the Mayor during disability or absence of the Mayor from the Village
or in cases of vacancy in the office of Mayor,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY REFOi.VED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Councilman Richard J. O'allon be designated as acting Mayor
for the calendar year ending Iecember 31st, 1968.
2. That said acting Mayor shall perform all the duties of the Mayor
during disability or absence of the Mayor from the Village or in
• the cases of vacancy in :lie office of Mayor until a successor has
been appointed or elected ant qualified.
The above motion was seconded uy Councilman Hunt, and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen O'Fallon,
Hagen and Hunt; and the following voted against: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
