HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1967-205J �-I VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVEQRTISf9MT FOR BIDS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular (*Mft"}') meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, h.innesota, was held on the 11th day of December , 19 67 The following members were present: Mayor Staples, Councilmen O'Fallon, Hagen and Hunt. and the following members were absent: Councilman Duntle,. 'IIet Mayor Staples introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67-205 WHEREAS, pursuant to a Resolution passed by the Council on Administrator 19—, the Village NoXimaw has prepared plans and specifications for one used Street Sweeper and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW THWWORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLIMOUTH: -1- 0 111. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be in- serted in the official pap -r and in an advertisement for bids upon the making of such-improvemi.nt under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be pub- lished for two weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall st%te that bids will be opened and conside.Lad by the Co,.ncil at 10:00 A. L. onJan.4 196 H, in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall, and that no bide will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for 10:: percent of the amount of such bid." The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: savor Staples, Councilmen O'Fallon, Haven and Hunt.
