HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1967-108The following members were present: Magor Staples, Councilman O'Fallon, Duntley and Hunt; and the,folloving'usfnbera were absent; Councilman Hagen. Mayor Staples introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: "RESOLUTION NO. 67-108" BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, kinnesota, conduct a public Bearing at the Village Hall of said Village at 7:30 o'clock P.M. on the 'ith day of August. 1967, to consider the vacation of the following described street -,t "Berkshire Lane and South Street beginning at a: point of intersection of Berkshire Lane with -the South right-of-way line of the electric short line railroad (Minneapolis Industrial Railway Company) thence northerly to the inter- section of Berkshire Lane and South Street, thence easterly approximately 250' to a'point of intersection with the proposed new Zinnia Lane, all in the Village of Plymouth, Hennepin County, Minnesota, and a'but'ted by Lot 4, First Addition Greer's Orchard Tracts, _:annepiR County, Lots 21 and 22, Parkers Lake Gardens, and all that part, of the Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 34, Township 118, Range 22 lying North of the Northerly right-of-way of the Electric Short Line Railroad and Westerly of a Southerly extension of the East line of Lot 21, Parkers Lake Gardens." BE IT FLWMER RESOLVED THAT the Village Clerk be directed to give proper legal notice of such hearing in the manner required by law. The above motion was seconded by Councilman hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, cue,following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Staples, Councilmen O'Fallon, Am+.Iey and Hunt; and the following were absents Councilman Hunt. (hereupon said resolution was declared to be duly passed and adopted. STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF HENNEPIN� SS. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified sad acting clerk of the Village of Plymouth,; Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of said Village held July 17, 1967, with the original thereof on file in my office and the now is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom insofar as the acme relates to the vacation of a portion of Berkshire Lane and South Street.
