Eayor Staples introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. ;7-51
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ENCOURAGING
THE PROPOSED SCHEDULE OF DEVELOPMENT AND
CONSTRUCTION OF COUNTY ROAD 18
WHFRL"AS, the Hennepin County Highway Department has presented a
schedule of development and construction for a -continuation of a four
lane divided highway on County Road 18 running in a northerly direction
from State HighMay 55 to its intersection with Interstate 494 and,
WHEREAS, such schedule of development and construction indicates
and orderly development from north to south and,
WHKRE'AS, the Hennepin County Highway Department has prepared:prsliminary
plans for the improvement of a part of County Road 18 in the Village of
Plymouth from County Road. 10 north to the boundary of the Village;
NON,, TZffWQRE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYKOUTH:
1. That the Hennepin County Highway Department be encouraged to
proceed with an orderly north to south development and construction
of County Road 18 within the limits of the Village of Plymouth.
2. That the preliminary design plan presented by representatives of
the Hennepin County Highway Department to the Village Council
relating to that segment of County Road 18 from County Road 10
to the northern boundary of said Village is hereby approved.
3. Th%t the Village Clark—Administrator is hereby directed to send
a certified copy of this resolution to the Administrator of the
Hennepin County Highway Department.
The above motion was seconded by Trustee Hagen, and upon vote being
teicen thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Kayor Staples, Trustees
