The following embers were present: Mayor staples, trustees O'Fallon, Duntley, Hagen and Hunt. and the following members were absent: None. * e # Trustee Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: nsmuTIoy 67-45 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the purchase of one Tractor -Loader -Backhoe. by bids were re:;eived, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement. Amount of Bidder Total Hid Hall Equipment, Inc. $8,868.12 Frank Knapp Sales $9,064.50 and, WHEREAS, it appears that Hall Equipment, Inc. of 2360 Himay #loo So., Mpls., Minn. is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: "l. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Hail Equipment, Inc. Of kinnaoliis Minnesota n o e age of Plymouth the or ie of : one (1) International to 3414 Loader Tractor, Diesel Engine with a 3141 Backhoe. 0 by according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Clerk. 2. The Village Clerk 13 hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed." The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Twstee I(ayor Staples and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor staples, Trustees O'Fallon, Duntley, Hagen and Hunt. The following voted against the same: None. The following were (absent) (abstained from voting): gone. whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
