HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1967-041RFSOLUTION Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village • Council of the Village of Plymouth was held on the 3rd day of April, 1967, at the Village Hall commencing at 7:30 p.m. The following merbers were present: kayor Staples, Trustees O'Failon, Duutiey, Hagen and Hunt. The followin7 members were absent: None. payor Staples introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 67-$1 WHEREAS, the Viilag� of Plymouth is presently without an Assessor, and WHERII.,AS, all of the applicants for this position have been examined and interviewed, and WHEREAS, it was the general corsessus that James '-ha. ghnessy be appointed, NOW, tnerefore be it hereby resolved by the Vil.,�ge Council of the Village of Plymouth.- 1. lymouth:1. That James Shaughnessy be appointed as Village Assessor effectir- April 3, 1967, . 2. That the star•:ing salary for this position be established at $625 per month until Jaly 1, 1967, at that time the salary shall be increased to $675 per month subject to the employee's performance. 3. That the bond for Assessor Shaughnessy be approved. The abo-,e motion was seconded by Trustee Hunt, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Staples, Trustees DAntley, Hagen and Hunt. The following abstained: Trustee O'Falinn. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed Lna adopted.
