HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1967-040i EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF VILLAGE COUNCIL OF VILLAGE, SOTA April 3, 1967 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on April 3, 1967 at the Village Hall, 13800 State Highway No. 55, commencing at 7:30 o'clock P. M. The following members were present: Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon, Hunt, Hagen and Duntley; and the following members were absent: None. Trustee Hagen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: "Resolution No. 67-40 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF LAND FROM THE CHICAGO & NORTHWESTERN RAILWAY COMPANY WHEREAS, application has been made to the Chicago & Northwestern Railway Company for sanitary sewer permits and easements along the right-of-way of said railway, formerly known as Minneapolis Industrial Railway and, WHEREAS, said railway has proposed to enter into an agreement whereby it would by license and permit authorize the use of said right -of -wap for the installation of sanitary sewer and in addition convey to the Village certain property which it now owns, which property is designated on Village maps as Forest View Lane South to the right-of-way of said -1- railway. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Village of Plymouth does hereby accept the offer of the Chicago & Northwestern Railway to convey to the Village of Plymouth 4.64 acres of former spur track right-of-way located in what is designated on Village maps as Forest View Lane together with required easements for sanitary sewer purposes in the sum of $1,000.00. 2. The Mayor and Clerk -Administrator are authorized to execute on behalf of the Village agreements of purchase and license for said right-of-way and easements. The above motion was seconded by Trustee Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereon: Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon, Hunt, Hagen and Duntley. That said extract is in all respects a true and correct copy of said original minutes as said minutes pertain to the acquisition of land from the Chicago & Northwester: Railway Company. o� -2-
