VILLAGE OP PLXNOM, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 3rd day of April,
1967, at tie Village Nall, 13800 State Righway No. 55, commencing at 7:30 P.M.
The following members were presents Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Pallon, Duntley,
Ragan and Sunt, The following members were absent: None.

OF STATE AID STREW ALLOTMERT
WHOR JS, the Minnesota State Aid Street Allotment is allocated to
to municipalities on the basis of the 1960 Decennial Census; and
ItMMUS, the State Legislature authorised a special census for the
Village of Plymouth in 196,; and
VMXM B, the population of the Village of Plymouth increased from
9,576 in 1960 to 13,040 in 1965; and
UBMAS, it is unjust and inequitable to base the State Aid Street
Allotment on the outdated 1960 Census; anti
VEMEAS, a bill has been introduced in the Minnesota Souse of
Representatives, presently designated w Sons* Hie No. 377, which bill
would amend !Minnesota Statute 162.09 Subdivision 4, to permit tho use
of the 1965 special census in determining State Aid Street Allotment.
NOW TSE, be it resolved, that the Plymouth Village Council
Soon on record in support of the above referred to legislative bill.
The above motion was seconded by Trustee Duntley and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof Mayor Staples, Trustees
O'lalloas, DnntlWt Hagan and Sunt. The following voted against: Now.
Vhereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
