HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1966-21910 LJ •• 0 VILLAGE OF PLjnWMH RTSOLUA APPROVING -RA"-,AND SPECIFICAS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 14th day of November, 1966. The following members were present: b.ayor Staples, Trustees Renner, Hunt, and Hagen. and the following members were absent: Trustee O'Fallon, RESOLIRION NO. 66-219 AAyor Staples introduced the following Resolution and move^ 1.ts adoption: WHEREAS, the Police Chief of the Village cif Plymouth has reported on the need for and specifications of two 1967 Police Patrol Cars, and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and advertisement for bids upon the making os such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for one week, shall state that bids will be opened and con- sidered by the Council at 10:00 A.M. on December 19, 1966, in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit cashier;e check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for 20 per cent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Trustee Renner and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Staples, Trustees Renner, Hagen and Hunt. The following voted against thE- same: None. The following were absent: Trustee O'Fallon.
