The following members were present: Mayor staples, Trustees 017allon, Hagen, Sunt and Rowwr. A proposed assessment roll for the bi t AVOWW ,• street Project /proveuent, prepared by tha Village Clerk, with, the assistance of the TiilAo Lgis+wr , is hereby received and ordered to be place,-' on fila in the office of the Village Clers, where it shall be and remain open to public inspection. 2. The Village Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of a hearing on such proposed assessment in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the time specified for such hearing. The clerk shall also mail a copy of such notice to the owner of each parcel of land described in the assessment roll, with such mailed notice to be given no less than two weeks prior to the date of hearing on such proposes assessment roll. Such notice shall state the date, time and place of such • hearing, the general nature of the improvement, the area proposed to be essesaed, that the proposed assessment roll is on file with the Clerk, and that written or oral objections thereto by any property owner will be considered. 4. The Village Council shall meet at the time and place specified in such notice to pass upon such proposed assessment. The above motion was seconded by Trustee Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: MW*r staples, Trustees O•lallon, Hagen, Runt and Hearer; iand the following voted against: Now.
