Resolution No. 66-154
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was
held on September 12,1966, at the Village Hall, commencing at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Staples, Trustees Hunt,
Hagen and Renner
and the following were absent: Trustee O'Fallon
Trustee Hunt introduced the following resolution
• and moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, the City of Minneapolis owns a parcel of land in the
Village of Plymouth and has proposed to build a public golf course
onsaid property, and
WHEREAS, it would be desirable that officials from the City
of Minneapolis and the Village of Plymouth confer regarding the
use of this land,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF 3LYMOUTH:
1. That because the property in question is a
large parcel and the use to which it is put will
significantly affect the residents of the Village, y
• the officials of the Village of Plymouth arrange to Ce►ti.t-b
confer with officials of the City of Minneapolis
regarding the use or uses proposed for said property.
2. That inasmuch as,Plymouth, like Minneapolis,
has established planning methods to insurebest possible
land use, the City of Minneapolis at such a conference
as may be arranged officially present proposals relative
to the use of this land or disposal thereof to the
Village Council of Plymouth Village for discussion
purposes before proceeding with any said plan.
3. That a certified copy of this resolution be
forwarded upon enactment to the Ways and Means
Committee of the City of Minneapolis Council.
0 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was
duly seconded by Trustee Haaen and upon vote
being taken thereon the following voted i :f.-vor thereof:
Mayor Staples, Trustees Ranner, Hagen and Hunt.
and the following voted against the motion: Nolle
and the following were absent: Trustee O'Fallon.
whereupoL the motion was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify
that I havt carefully compared the attached and foregoing
extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council
of said village held September 12 , 1966, with the original
thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and
complete t-anscript therefrom insofar as the same relates to the
plan of the Minneapolis City Council to build a public golf
course on land in the Village of Plymouth.
WITNESS, mV hand officially as such clerk and the corporate
seal of the village this 4th day of October 1966.
