RESOLUTION CALLING UPON ALL IESID NTS OF
PLYMOUTH VILMME, TO DISPLAt TEEPItR !LAGS

3e it resolved by the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth:
dhereas,,the anti-war demonstrations in the Unites. States have
been, utilized by North Viet 11am as a weapon of psychzlogical
warfare to undermine the will of our servicemen in Viet Pian;
therefore be it,
Resolved, that the Plymouth Village Council call upon all residents
of Plymouth Village to display their flags September 2 through
September 5; and be it further
Resolved, that a copy of this resolution be forwarded fort Frith
to President Ly.adon'B, Johnson, the Presid=_nt of the United
States Senate, the Speaker of the United :,tater House of Rep-
resentativeo, Senator Walter Mondale, Senator ,`,.aene ;ccarthy,
and Congressman Clark EacGregor; and be it furthar,
Resolved, that the Plymouth Village Council forward a copy if
this resolution, forthwith, to Governor Carl Rolvaae, urging
the Governor to.issue a proclamation to all residents of the
State of Minnesota, to display their flags September 2 through
September 5, 1966, as an expression of support of American
troops in Viet Nam.
Said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted the 15th
day of August, 1966.,
