HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1966-1130 EXTRACT OF MIN OF REGULAR MEETING OF VILLAGE COUNCIL, VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH July 1s, 1966 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of July, 1966. The following members were present: Mayor Staples, Trustees O•Fallon, Hunt, and Renner and the following members were absent; • 1��A�, ,5 �� introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: "RESOLUTION NO. 66- 113 A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING FIRST NATIONAL BANS OF MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA AS AN ADDITIONAL VILLAGE DEPOSITORY AND FIXING THE COLLATERAL REQUIRED WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable to establish and designate an additional depository for funds of the village and, WHEREAS, after appropriate investigation it has been recommended that First National Bank of Minneapolis, Minnesota be so designated and, WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 118.01 of Minnesota Statutes it is necessary that the said depository furnish collateral to the village to secure any funds so deposited and that said collateral be approved by the village, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the First National Bank of Minneapolis, Minnesota be designated as an additional official depository of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota. 2. That the following collateral to secure deposits made by the Village of Plymouth with said First National Bank of Minneapolis be approved and that said collateral be delivered to the Village Treasurer together with an assignment of said collateral: $100,000 City of Greeley, Colorado Refunding Water Bonds - 3.2% due June 1, 1882-1883 inclusive. $100,000 Comstock Public Schools #32, Michigan - 3.40% due May 1, 1985. $100,000 St. Charles, Minnesota School District #858 - 3.50% due January 1, 1983-1984 inclusive. $50,000 St. Charles, Minnesota School District #858 - 3.60% due January 1, 1985. $150,000 Alabama Highway Authority, Highway Bonds - 3.60% due November 1, 1985." The above motion was seconded by T"RJSt(t�NLP and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor • thereof: Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon, Hunt,-i%gm and Renner. The following voted against: None Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. STATE OF MINNESOTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the ViIlLpre Council of said village held July 18, 1966, with the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a fall, true and complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates tc naming the First National Bank of Minneapolis, Minnesota as an additional village depository and fixing the collateral required.
