HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1966-096LJ CJ VILLAGE & PLYkOUTH RESOLUTION APPROVING AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVE RTISMaw FOR BII • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a spec al meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 27th day of June, 1966. The following members were present: Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon, Hagen and Renner. and the following members were absent: Trustee Hunt. RESOLUTION NO. 66-)6 kayor Staples introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: • WHEREAS, pursuant to a Resolution passed by the Council on February 7, 1966, the Village Engineer hAa prepared plans and specifications for the installation of Sanitary Sewer Project No. 66-1F. and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW, THFRLFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTHS "l. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin • an advertiiament for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for two weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Council at 10:00 o'clock A.M. on July 220 1966, in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clark for 5 per cent of the amount of such bid." • The motion for the adoption of the foregoig Resolution was duly seconded by Trustee Renner and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Staples, Tri.-stees O'Fallon, Hagen and Renner. The following voted against the same: bone. The following were absents Trustee Hunt. VILIAOE OF PLYMOUTH) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a special meeting of the Village Council of said Village held June 27th, 1966, with the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full,true and complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to Approving of plans and spaoifications and ordering advertisement for bide for installation of sanitary sewer No. 66-1F.
