XXTRACT OF KINUTES OF MEETING
OF VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA
Ptarsuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Village
Cewwil of the Village of Plymouth,, Minnesota, w" duly held at the Village Hall,
13800 State Highway No. 55, on the 20th day of June, 1966, at 7:30 o'clock P. X.
The following members Were present: Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon, Hagen,
Hunt and Renner.
The following members were absent: None.
Mayor Staples introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 66-92
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF
PLYMOUTH AND THE FIRM OF HOWARD, PETERSON, i.F.Ti'EVERE, Lm -LER
AND HAMILTON FOR CODIFICATION OF ORDINANCES.
WHEREAS, the Village has for some time felt it desirable to codify its
Ordinances, which are presently in uncodified form and
WHEREAS, the Firm has the facilities and professional experience necessary
to codify such Ordinances and is willing to undertake such codification, and
WHEREAS, The parties hereto have agreed upon the terms and conditions
under which such Ordinances shall be codified by the Firm,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF PLYkOUTH, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Firm hereby agrees to codify the Ordinances of the Village,including
recommendations for the removal therefrom of all obsolete material,
recommendations with respect to ordinances deemed necessary but not now
in effect, the orderly arrangement of such Ordinances by category and
number and the indexing of the ease. The Firm agrees that no new material
will be added to the Ordinance Code without consultation with and approval
of thei Village Council.
2. The Firm further agrees that it will complete said codification on or
before July 1, 1967, and will arrange for the reproduction of said Code.
The Firm agrees that in arranging for said printing it will seek to
obtain the best possible price commensurate with work of good quality
and fill bill the Village for such printing at the Firm's cost.
3. The Village agrees that in consideration of the undertakings of the
firm as hereinabove expressed, it will pay to the Firm the following
sums:
a. $5,000.00 as and for the Firm's professional services;
b. The cost of reproducing said Ordinance Code;
c. The expense of extra stenographic assistance required;
The above sums shall be paid in the following manner:
a. All expenses, other than the fee for professiona_ services,
shall be paid when incurred and billed by the Firm to the Village.
b. One-third of the professional fee shall be paid on or before
July 1, 1967; one-third of said fee shall be paid on or before
July 1, 1968, and the balance shall be paid on or before
July 1, 1969.
$. The Village further agrees that it will cooperate with the Firm in
the assembling of data necessary to the codification and in that
regard that it will make the files and records of the Village
available to the Firm at all reasonable times and, as it is necessary
will provide space in the Village Hall for work being done by the
Firm at said Village Hall.
5. The Mayor and Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said
agreement on behalf of the Village of Plymouth.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Trustee Hagen and upon vote bei:;, taken thereon the following voted in
favor thereof: Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon, Renner, Hagen and Hunt;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting clerk of the
Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared
the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the
Village Council of said Village held June 20th, 1966, with the original
thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and complete
transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to an Agreement for
Codification of Ordinances.
