VILLAGE COUNCIL. OF
VILLAGE OF PI..YMCUTH, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was
held at the Plymouth Village Hall, 1.3800 Sta-e rlighwa; No. 55,

on the -day of May, 1966, commencing at 7:30 o'clocK P. M.
The following members were pres-nt: Mayor Staples, Trustees
O'Fallon, Renner, Hagen and Hunt; and the following members were
absent: None.
Mayor Staples introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE USE OF FACSIMILE

WHEREAS, checks and drafts of the Village of Plymouth have
heretofore been signed by the manual signatures of the Mayor,
Village Cleric and Village Treasurer, and
WHEREAS, the number and volume of said checks and drafts
is such that much time can be saved by using facsimile signatures,

WHEREAS, The Village Treasurer has presented to the Council
a proposal for the purchase of equipment which would allow the
use of facsimile signatures,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS-

1. That the Village Treasurer be authorised to purchase
a check, writing machine containing equipment for
facsimile signatures of the Mayor, Village Clerk and
Village Treasurer, including insurance against loss
of any public funds by reason of unauthorized use
of such facsimile signatures.
2. That pursuant to the provisions of Section 47.41,
Minnesota Statutes, the depositary of the Village of
Plymouth, currently the Golden Valley State Bank,
Golden Valley, Minnesota, is hereby authorized and
directed to honor all checks and drafts drawn on
the Village account which contain the facsimile
signature of the Mayor, Village Clerk and Village
Treasurer.
3. That from and after the date of this resolution manual
signatures on Village checks and drafts will no longer
be required.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
seconded by Trustee Renner and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Staples, Trustees
O'Fallon, Renner, Hagen and Hunt
The following voted against the same: None
WHEREUPON Said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting clerk
of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have
carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes
of'4 regular meeting of the Village Council of said village held

the._ame is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom inso-
far as the same relates to the use of facsimile signatureson
checks and drafts of the village.
