HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1966-066I VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Resolution No. 66-66 Pursuant to dere call and notice thereof, a regular sweeting of the Village Council of the ViXags of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the Sth day of May, 1966. The follwing members were present.- Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Failon, Huat, Hagen and Renner; and the following members were absent: bone. oe* ase •ee Mayor tltaples introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: WHEMUS, it has been required by both tate Minnesota Rail- roal aL1 warehouse Commission and the Soo Line Railroad that signals be installed at the intersection of west Medicine Lake hoad and the Soo Line Railroad tracks and, WHRZAS, west Medici -as Lake Road >«w it approaches said tracks is a narrow roa.tway making it difficult to place such signals properly and, THERUS, it is important that consideration be given to widening said west Mediaiac Labe Drive in the vicinity of said crossing in order that said &ignals can, be properly placed, NOW, THERBFORM, 99 IT HEREBY RESOLVID BY THE VILLAOE COMCIL OF Ti{I V ILLAM OF PLYMOM AS FOLLOWS: 1. That consideration be given to the widening of West Medicine Lake Drive in the vicinity of its inter- section with the loo Line Railroad tractus during the 1967 construction season. s.: 2. ",hat the Clerk -Administrator he directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the appropriate officials and public bodied concerned with this problem. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution wan duly seconded by Trustee Renner and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Pallon, Hagen, rant and Renner.
