HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1966-056Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a sugm0w (special) meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 25th day of April 19 66, The following members were present: Mayor Maples, Trustees 0"Fallon, Hunt, Hagen and Benner and the following members were absent: Hone Isonom Mayor Staples introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, pursuant to a Resolution passed by the Council on March 21 , 199 6e , the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the instalistion of storm sewer to Drainage Area T -H and, =R345, the Council did on the Sist day of March, 1966 adopt a resolution approving said pians and specifications and did set the date of May S, 1966 as the date for the opening of bids on such project and, WMXMiA•, the advertisssent for such bid opening was not published through inadvertence and, WERBItAA, it is necessary to re-suthorime the advertisessat for bids and set another date for the opening of such bids, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: -1- 0 0 f al. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be in- serted in the official paper an advertisement -for bids upon fhe ma ng of such mprovement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be pub- lished forI , shall specify the work to be done, spall elate tthat gids will be opened and considered by the Council at _ o'clock /► id. on �r , Wig, in the Za ncil Cham eters of the Wl a�gAall, aaa that no bids will be considered unless se&led and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check pay- able to the Clerk for 5__ per cent of the amount of such bid." The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Trustee!_ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: rayor Maples, Trustees OwFallon, Hent, Hagen and Renner The following voted against the same: None The following were (absent) (abstained from voting): Now WHEREUPON, said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted..
