OF
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was held on
the lath day of April, 1988 at the Village &L A. , 13800 State
Highway No. 55, commencing at 7;30 o'clock P. M.
The following members were present:
Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Failen, Hunt and Renner
The following members were absent:
Trustee Hagen
Mayor Staples introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:

A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE MINNEAPOLIS TRAFFIC ASSOCIATION
IN ITS PTITION BEFORE THE 111 . R$TATE CONWERCE COMMISSION
FOR THE INCLUSION OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH IN THE
MINNEAPOLIS -1ST. PAUL RATE AREA
WHEREAS, the Village of Plymouth is presently outside of
the Minneapolis -St. Paul area with respect to trucking rate
schedules fixed by the Interstate Commerce Commission and,
WHEREAS, industrial growth within the Village of Plymouth
has been rapid and substantial and,
WHEREAS, it would be to the advantage of industry located
within the village if Plymouth were included withir. the
Minneapolis -St. Paul rate area and,
WHEREAS, a petition is now pending before the Interstate
Commerce Commission to extend the limits of the Minneapolis -
St. Paul rate area to include Plymouth,
