HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1966-042W VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RESDLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPRCIFICATIONS AND DORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 28th day of March , 19 66 . The following members were present: Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon, Renner and hunt; also present Administrator Boog, Consulting Engineer Bonestroo. and the .following members were absent: Trustee Hagen RESOLUTION NO. 66-42 Mayor Staples introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, pursuant to a Resolution passed by the Council on November 3 , 19 65 , the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project 661C, regarding installation of sanitary sewers. The construction area of this project is located South of State Highway #55, including the Ivanhoe Woods Addition and those latera.la related to Trunk #1. I -JV and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: - 1 - 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are attached hereto and made a part thereof, are hereby approved. 2.. The Village Clerk sha:l prepare ani. cause to be ire serted in the official paper Minnetonka Herald an advertisement for bids upon the making'of such improvement under such approved plans and sPecifications. The advertisement shall be published for 1iYlQ w-eelSs, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by the Council at IQ:QQ A.M. oOclook A.K. on April 22, 19,x1 in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for 5 per cent per cent of the amount of such bid." The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Trustee O'Fallon and upon vote being,, taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon, Renner and Hunt. The following members were present: Mayor dtaples, Trusts" 01yallon, Renner and Hunt. and the following members were absent: Hagen Mayor ptaales introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, pursuant to a Resolution passed by the Council on December 6, 20, 1965 Consulting Wevember 3,_10,, 17 and / , 1£ , the engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the Installation of sanitary sewers in those areas an set out in the above resolution, vhich areas are knows an 1966 Sanitary lower Project 1C. L7 and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE 40 VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH- -I- 111. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be in- serted in the official paper and in Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications.
