EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF
VILLAGE COUNCIL, MARCH 5, 1966
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special
meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth,
Minnesota, was held on the 5th day of March, 1966, at the
Village Hall, 13800 State Highway No. 55, Plymouth,
Minnesota, commencing at 19:00 o'clock A.M.
The following members were present: Mayor Staples,
Trustees O'Fallon, Hunt, Hagen and Renner; and the
following members were absent; none.
Mayor Staples introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 66-"27
"RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR BEACON HEIGHTS
STORM SEWER PROJECT FOLLOWING A NEGOTIATED BID"
WHEREAS, the Village Council has, on two prior
occasions.advertised for bids for the installation of
storm sewers in the Beacon Heights Area (Area IX) and,
WHEREAS, on both of such occasions the bids
submitted exceeded the estimates of the Village Engineer
for said project and,
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has negotiated with
several of the bidders seeking to obtain a lower price
for the installation of said storm sewer and,
WHEREAS, through such negotiation a lower price
has been obtained with Northern Contracting Co. of
Hopkins, Minnesota and Armco Steel Corporation on a
combination basis,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE
COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the offer of Northern Contracting Co. and
Armco Steel Corporation for installation of the Beacon
Heights Storm Sewer (Area IX) in the amount of $132,464.37
is hereby accepted.
2. That the Mayor and Clerk Administrator are hereby
authorized and directed to sign acceptances of said
offer."
The above motion was seconded by Trustee O'Fallon
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Mayor Staples, Trustee O'Fallon, Hunt,
Hagen and Renner; and the following voted against: none.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and
acting clerk-administrat or of the Village of Plymouth,
hereby certify that I have carefully.compared the attached
and foregoing extract of minutes of a special meeting of
the Village Council of said village held March 5, 1966,
with the original thereof on file in my office and
the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom
insofar as the same relates to the issuance and sale of
Storm Sewer Bonds of the Village.
WITNESS, My hand officially as such clerk -administrator
and the corporate seal of the Village this 7th day of March,
1966.
