HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1966-014VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERILING ADVERTISEMENT FOR 13IDS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular (sMtn*") meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 7th day of Iftbru&ZZ 19_ The following members were present: Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Iallon, Sunt, Hagen and Menner and the following members were absent: Rowe i Trustee C Er4liaw introduced the following Resolution • and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, pursuant to * ResolutiogBpassed by the Council on November 3, 10, 17 and consulting g,"ra asd 20 109.5, the Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the • Installation of sanitary sowers is those areas as at out in the above resolutions, all of which area are designated as 19" Sanitary Sewer Project IA E INK and has presented such plane and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE 0 VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: -1- "1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are IS attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be in- serted in the official paper and in Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bi upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be pub- lished for Z weeks , shall specify the work to be done, shall state a ids will be opened and considered by the Council at 10:00 o'clock o 8 ,- in the o ncilcham ers o iTie'Vil age-Haall,a+inc that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check pay- able to the Clerk for S per cent of the amount of such bid." The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was • duly seconded by Trustee and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof; Mayor Btaplow, Trumtees 01F-%2lon, Hunt, Hagen and Renner The following voted against the same: ]tone The following were (absent) (abstained from voting): Now WHEREUPON, said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
