EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF
VILLAGE COUNCIL, DECKER 20, 1965
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota,
was held on the 20th day of December, 1965, at the Village Hall,
13800 State Highway No. 55, Plymouth, Minnesota, commencing at
7:30 o'clock P. M.
The following members were present: Mayor Staples, Trustees
Curtis, O'Failon and Humphrey; and the following members were
absent, Trustee Seviour.
Trustee Curtis introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 65- 7
"RESOLUTION REJECTIM Rim ON BEACON HEIGHTS
STORM SE'NSR PROJECT (AREA IX)
WHEREAS, pursuant to advertising for bids as required by law,
December 20, 1965 at 10:00 A. M. was fixed as the date and time for
opening bids on the installation of storm sewer for the Beacon
Heights Area (Area No. IX) and,
WHRM5, said bids were opened on such date and at such time
and more thereafter submitted to the Council, and,
WHEREAS, the lowest of such bids exceeded the estimates of
the cost of construction of the project,
NOW THERXFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLA61 OF PLYMOUTH:
That all of such bids be rejected."
The above motion was seconded by Trustee O'Fallon and upon
vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof:
Mayor Staples, Trustees Curtis, O'Fallon and Humphrey; the following
voted against the same: Bone.
Whereupon, the motion was declared duly passed and adopted.
