HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1965-128EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETIXG OF VILLAGE COUNCIL OF VII.IAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Plymouth Village Council was held on the 13th day of December, 1965 at the Village Hall, 13800 State Highway No. 55, commencing at 7:30 o'cloc'c P. M. The following members were present: Mayor Staples, Trustees Curtis, O'Fallon and Seviour. The following members were absent: Trustee Humphrey. Mayor Staples introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: "RESOLUTION NO. 65- 128 A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE REMOVAL AND ABATEMENT OF A NUISANCE AT 2440 OLIVE LANE WHEREAS, a nuisance has existed on Lot 2, Block 4, Cross First Addition, otherwise known as 2440 Olive Lane and, WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 60-7 of the Village, said building has been found to be dangerous and notice to abate such nuisance has been given to all persons having an interest in said property and, WHEREAS, a hearing on the abatement of said nuisance was held on December 6, 1965 and all. persons desiring to be heard were so heard, NOW THEREFORE., BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the building inspector be authorized to undertake the razing and destruction of the building located on Lot 2, Block 4, Cross First Addition. 2. That the cost to the village of such destruction be certified to the County Auditor and assessed against said property." The above motion was seconded by Trustee Seviour. Trustee O'Fallon moved to amend the resolution by adding "on December 22, 1965" at the end of paragraph No. 1 of the resolution. Said motion was seconded by Mayor Staples. Upon vote being taken on the amendment, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon and Seviour. The following voted against: Trustee Curtis. Whereupon said amendment was declared passed. Upon vote being taken on the resolution as amended, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon and Seviour. The following voted against: Trustee Curtis Whereupon saki resolution as amended was declared duly passed and adopted.
