SALARIES OF THE MAYOR AND TRUSTEES WHEREAS, it has been deemed necessary and advisable to increase the salaries presently paid to the Mayor and Trustees of the Village of Plymouth from their present level to $150.00 per month for the Mayor and $100.00 per month for each of the :tour (d) Trustees and WHEREAS, Section 412.181_, Subd. 10 requires that such salaries be established by ordinance and then be approved by a majority of those voting on the proposition at a regular or special village election and WHEREAS, a regular village election of the Village of Plymouth will be held on December 7, 1965 and WHEREAS, the Council did on November 8, 1965 adopt Ordinance Nu. 65-22 by the provisions of which it established the salary of the'Mayor at $150.00 per month and the Trustees at $100.00 per month each, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HERESY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE C6UsNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS: 1. That at the regular village election to be held on December 7, 1965, the .following proposition shall be submitted to the voters of the village for their approval or disapproval: "Shall the provisions of Ordinance No. 65- 22 setting the salary of the Mayor of the `Tillage of Plymouth at $150.00 per month and: the salaries of each of the four (4) Trustees of the Village at $100.00 per month be approved?" YES NO 2. The Clerk -Administrator of the Village is directed to cause a special ballot to be prepared. contain- ing the above proposition and distributed to each precinct and polling place for use in the regular village election on December 7, 1965. The above Motion was seconded by Trustee !Nsphre„1► �S and upon vote being taken thereon, the fallowing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Staples, Trustees Curtis, OlFallon, 'Humphrey and Seviour. the following voted against the same: gone. the following were (absent) (abstained from voting) : r`One• whereupon t" -e motion was declared duly passed and adopted. That at the regular vi)lage election to be held on December 7, 1965, the following proposition --1- shall be submitted to the voters of the village for their approval or disapproval: "Shalt the provisions of Ordinance No. 65 - setting the salary of the Mayor of the Village of Plymouth at $150.00 per mouth and the salaries of each of the four (d) Trustees of the Village at $100.00 per month be approved?" 2, The Clerk -Administrator of the Village is directed to cause a special ballot to be prepared contain- ing the above proposition and distributed to each precinct and polling place for use in the regular village election on December 7, 1965.
