HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1965-110t EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF VILLAGE COUNCIL OF VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice there..f, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minne- sota was held on the 18th day of October, 1965 commencing at 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the Village Hall. The following members were present: Mayor Staples, Trustees Curtis, O'Fallon and Humphrey. The following members were absent: Trustee Seviour Trustee Curtis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Resolution No. 65-110 "RESOLUTION TO CHICAGO NORTHWESTERN RAILROAD CO. REQUESTING REPLACEMENT OF TRESTLE BRIDGE AT COUNTY ROAD NO. 70 Whereas, the Chicago Northwestern Railroad Co., or its predecessors la ownership, formerly had a trestle bridge where the drainage ditch passes under its tracks at County Road NQ. _70 and, Whereas, said trestle bridge has been replaced by a culvert for drainage purposes at said location and, Whereas, the said culvert is entirely inadequate, NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. That the Chicago Northwestern Railroad Company be requested to remove the culvert under its track at County Road No;, TO in the Village •:f Plymouth and replace said culvert with a trestle type bridge .similar to the one which had previously been in place at said location. 2. The.Village Clerk is directed to send a copy of thio to the appropriate officers of said railroad." The above motion was seconded by .119R%IFW MaYor StapLes and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: YAyor Staples, Trustees Gurtis, O'Fallon and limphrey. The following voted against; None. Ilbsentt Trustee Seviour. Whereupon said resolution was declared to be duly passed and adopted. STATE OF MINNESOTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN SS VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH ) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota do hereby certify that the above extract of the minutes of the regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota is in all respects a tr•-- and correct copy of the original of said minutes on file in my office insofar as such extract pertains to the railroad culvert at County Road 70 and the Chicago Northwestern Railroad tracks.
