HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1965-086MOLUTION NQ. 65-86 VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RWOLUTIQ APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 13th day of September, 1965. The following manbews were presents Mayor Staples, Trustees Curtis, O'Fallon and Saviour. The following members were absents Trustee Humphrey. Magor Staples introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, pursuant to a Resolution passed by the Council on August 9, 1965, the Village Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for the construction and installatior of storm sewer in the location referred to as Drainage Area VI -A, Alternate Plan No. 1, and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval] NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGES COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH r "1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in Construction Bulletin an advertise- ment for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three weeks, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened at 10:00 o1clock A. M. on October 16, 1965, in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for 5 per cent of the amount of such bid." The motion for the adoption of the foregoing heeolution was duly secon- ded by Trustee O'Fallon and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Staples, Nrustess Curtis, O'Fallon and Saviour. The following voted against the same: None. The following were absents Trustee Humphrey. Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. STATE OF MINNESOTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN ) SS VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of said Village held September 13, 1965, with the original thereof on file in my office and the a ams is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relatee to the construction and installation of storm sewer in the loca- tion referred to as Drainage Area VI -A, Alternate Plan No. 1.
