RESOLUTION NO. 65-81
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PARK SITE
IMPROVEMIW
Pursuant co due call and notice thereof, a Special Meeting of
the Village C _11 of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
2;rd day of August, 1965.
The following members were present: Mayor Staples, Trustees Curtis,
01 Fallon and Seviour. The f ollowing members were absent: Trustee humphruy.
Mayor Staples introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
WHEREAS,
pursuant to an Advertisement for bids for the improvement of
the Scniebe Park site, to -wit:
1.
Site grading.
2.
Furnish and place fill material.
3.
Class 5 gravel.
4.
Sodding.
5.
Seed and fertilizer.
6.
Backstops.
Alternate No, 1. Furnish a.A install One (1) 4 -seat swing set
with concrete footings.
Bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

and,
WHEREAS, it appears that Wear Eamavating & Grading Company of Long Lake,
Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder,
NOW THE.I-2FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH:
"1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into a contract with Wear Excavating & Grading Co. of Long Lake,
Minnesota, in the name of the Village of Plymouth, for the Schiebe
Park site work, to -wit:
A. Site grading.
b. Furnish & place fill material.
c. Class 5 gravel.
d. Sodding.
e. Seed and fertilizer.
f. Backstops.
Alternats No. 1. Furnish and install One (1) 4 -seat swing set with
concrete footings.
All work to be done in accordance with the plans and specifications
therefor approved by the Village Council and on file in the office
of the Village Clerk.
2. Said bid being $117,195.75 plus Alternate No. 1, $225.00 - Total,
$17,420.75.
3. The VillageClerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except that the de-
posits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until the contract has been signed."

Motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Trustee O'Fallon and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereoft Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon and Seviour. Against:
Trustee Curtis. Absent: Trustee Humphrey.
WH;MPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting clerk of
the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully
compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a Special Meeting
of the Village Council of said Village held August 23, 1765 with the ori-
ginal thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and complete
transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to the acceptance of a
bid for the Schiebe Park Site work in the Village.
WITNESS, Icy ha%d officially as such clerk and the corporate seal of the
Village this 23rd day of Aum-ust, 1965.
