VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to clue call and notice thereof a regular me-eting of the
Plymouth Vi -L age ,Council was head on the 2hd day of August, 1965, at the
Village mall, 131800 State I ighwdy Pio. 55s, conneneing at 7:30 o'clock P --H.
The following members were present: Mayor Maples, Trustees O'Fallon and
Seviour.
The following me!nbers were abse!t: Trustees Glu -tis and Humphrey.
Trustee seyloup introduced the following, resolution and
moved its adoption:

W ERYAAS, it appears that there is a surplus in the Plymouth -Municipal
Liquor Fund WHBREAS it would appear that a substantias portion o; such surplus
will,not be required in the immediate lutm,e,

VILLAGE;'OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Village Treasurer shall forthwith purchase $40,000 in
90 -day U. S. Govarruaent oblAgations and said purchase sha l
be made from the Plymouth -Municipal Liquor Fund.
2. Said U. S. Government obligations shall be deposited for
safekeeping in the Golden Valley Stat: 8an1:, Golden Valley,
Ydnnesota, the offi;ial depository of hinds of the Village
of Plymouth.
Motion for adoption of the foregoing, resolution was duly seconded by
Trustee O'Fal.lon and upon vote being; taker: thereon, the followins voted
i:n'favor thereof: May'^ staples, Trustees O'FaJ on and Seviour.
The followin, voted afainst: gone. Abnent: Trustees Curtis & Humphrey.
Whereupon said resolution was declered duly passed and adoptee..

VILLAGE OF KMOUTH
Pa.•suant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the
P4vouth VIllage Council was held on the 2nd day of August, 1965, at the
Vill.agt .%all., 13804 State Highway No. 55, commencing at 700 O'clock P. M.
The following memberk+ were presents Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon and
Saviour.
The following members were absentt Trusters Curtis and Humphrey.
Trustee Saviour introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoptiont
RESOLUTION NO, 65-70
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZIK; INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS
-- IPROH PLYMOUTH•-MUKCIPAL LIQUOR FUND
WHEREAS, it appears that there is a surplus in the Plymouth4t=icipal
Liquor Fuad and,
WHEREAS, it would appear that a substantial portion of such surplus
will not be required in the imediate futures
NOW TMMEFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH A8 FOLLOWSt
1. The Village Treasurer shall forthwith purchase $40,000 in
)O -day U. S. Government obligations and said purchase shall
be made from the Plymouth -Municipal Liquor F'mA.
2. Said U. S. Government obligations shall be aeposited for
safekeeping in the Golden Valley State Bank, Golden {Talley,
ftnnesota, the official depository of Anda of the Village
of Plymouth.
Motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Trustee OtFallon and upon vote belong taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereoft Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon and Saviour.

Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minzaeota, hereby certify that I
have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes
of a regular meeting of the Village Council of said village held
August 2, 1965, with the original thereof on file in my office and the
same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom insofar as the
same relates to the purchase by the Village of Plymouth of $40,000
in U. S. Government obligations from the Plymouth4fi nicipal Liquor Fund.
WITNESS, Icy hand officially as such clerk and the corporate
seal of the vil-age this 2nd day of August, 1965.
