HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1965-022ordinance No. 65- 22 VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING MONTHLY SALARIES FOR THE MAYOR AND TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH DO HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Establishment of Salaries of Mayor and Trustees. 1.01 From and after January 1, 1966 and until L;therwise changed pursuant to law, the salary of the Mayor of the Village of Plymouth shall be in the sum of $150.00 per month. 1.02 From and after January 1, 1966 and until otherwise changed pursuant to law, the salaries of the Trustees of the Village of Plymouth shall be in the sum of $100.00 per month. Section 2. YES NO r EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF VILLAGE COUNCIL OF VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Plymouth Village Council was held on the Sth day of March, 1965, at the Village Hall, 13800 State Highway No. 55, commencing at 7:30 o'clock P. M. The following members were present: Mayor Staples, Trustees Curtis and Humphrey. The following members were absent: Trustees O'Fallon a--= Seviour. * * * Mayor Staples introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 65-22 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZ.'NG INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS ON 1963 STRE'T IMPROVEMENT BOND FUND WHEREAS, it appears that there is a surplus in the 1963 Street Improvement Bond Fund and, WHEREAS, it would appear that a substantial portion of such surplus will not be required in the immediate future for debt service purposes, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED., BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF`THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS: 1., The.Village Treasurer shall forthwith purchase $30,000 in 180 day q,,S. Government obligations and said purchase shall bemade from the 1963 Street Improvement Bond Fund. 2. Said U. S. Government obligations shall be deposited for safekeeping in:the Golden Valley State Bank, Golden Valley, Minnesota, the official depository of funds of the Village of Plymouth. 3. Said U. Government obligations shall be considered as part of the 1963 Street Improvement Bond Fund. -1- The above motion was seconded by Trustee Humphrey* and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Kajor Staples, Trustees Curtis and Humphrey. The following voted against: None. Absent: Trustees O'Fallan and Seviour. whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. STATE OF MINNESOTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN ) ss. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I havecarefullycompared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of said village held March 8, 1965, with the original thereof on file In my office and the same is a full, true and complete trans- cript therefrom insofar as the same relates to the purchse`by the Village of Plymouth of $30,000 in U. S. Government obligation, from the 1963 Street Improvement Bond Fund, WITNESS, 'My hand officially as such clerk and the corporate seal of the village this 8th day of March, 1965.
