VILLAGE COUNCIL OF VILLAGE OF
PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular
meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was
held at the Village Hall at 13800 State Highway No. 55 on
February 8, 1965, commencing at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
The following members were present:
Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon, Humphrey
and Seviour
The following members were absent:
Trustee Curtis
Trustee O'Fallon introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 65-14
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Highway Department, in connection
with the construction of Interstate Highway No. 494, must pro-
vide storm water drainage by the installation of drainage tile
under said Interstate Highway, and
WHEREAS, in the vicinity of Medicine LakeRoad and the
railroad tracks of the Soo Line Railroad, the Minnesota High-
way Department is required to drain said land in the vicinity
of Interstate Highway No. 494 with an 84" storm drainage pipe,
and
WHEREAS, on the East side of said Medicine Lake Road
and the said Soo Line Railroad track, the Village of Plymouth

presently has a 48" drainage tile, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that in order to effectively
drain the lands adjacent to said Interstate Highway No. 494
there be a 84" drainage tile installed under the said Medicine
Lake Road and said Soo Line Railroad tracks;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council
of the Village of Plymouth, as follows:
1. That the Village Council provide in its budget
for the year 1966 funds sufficient to provide
a 84" drainage pipe under Medicine Lake Road in a location
so as to connect up with the 84" storm drainage pipe to be
constructed by the Minnesota State Highway Department in
its development of Interstate Highway No. 494.
2. That copies of this resolution be furnished to
the Minnesota Highway Department for their use
in planning for construction of said Interstate Highway No.
494.
The above motion was seconded by Trustee Humphrey and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof:
Mayor Staples, Trustees O'Fallon, Humphrey
and Seviour
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, do hereby certify
that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing ex-
tract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council
held on the 8th day of February 1965, with the original thereof
on file in my office and the same is a full, true and complete
transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to the instal-
lation of an 84" drainage pipe under Medicine Lake Road to
connect with a similar pipe constructed by the Minnesota High-
way Department in its development of Interstate Highway No. 494.
