adoptions
i+diMW, under the Statutes of the State of Minnesota, a sos,niol-
pality which qualifies for the establishment of a municipal liquor dispensary
and does establish such a dispensary sear not issue licenses for the dispensa-
tion of intozivating liquors to private persons, and
WHDiFaS, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the Village of
Plymouth that said Village be legally entitled to establish an "off -sale"
municipal liquor dispensary for the dispensing of intoxicating liquors to the
general public and at the same tilos be legally entitled to provide for the
"on -sale" dispensing of intoxicating liquors to the general public by private
persons properly licensed by the Village, and
WiERUS, the honorable John A. Tngve, State Representative for the
31st Legislative District has indicated his xillingneas to introduce legisla-
tion which would permit the Village of Plymouth to dispense intoxicating
liquors "off -sale" by means of a ennicipsl liquor dispensary while simul-
taneously being able to grant "on -sale" intoxicating liquor licenses to
private persons,

"1e That it is deemed to be in the best Interests of the
Village of Plyouth that said Village be entitled to
dispense intoxicating liquors •off -sale" through a
municipal dispensary while sinaultenscuslt being els•

to private persons.
2. That the Honorable John A. Ybgve is urged to introduce
the appropriate legislation in the House of Representatives
during the 196$ Session of the legislature of the State of
Minnesota which would ,sake it possible for the Village of
Plgmcrth to accomplish this objective."
Above resolution was seconded by Trustee OtFal.lon and upon vote
being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof, Iddyor 5.aples,
Trustees J'Fallon and hum,hrev. Absta red Trustee Curtis. Absent: Trustee Seviour.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
