WHEREA3, the Minneapolis -Ste Paul Sanitary District has
reco=endad to the ;Minnesota Water Pollution Control Commission
that the City of Hoptdns, and the Villapos of Plymouth, Medicine
Lake, Minnetonka, Deephaven,foodland and Eden Prairie in
Hennepin County be included in a Southwest District to be
served by the M1nneapolis•Ste Pawl Sanitary District Vuvueh
the extension of sawame interceptor mains from the Pigs Eye
Plant on the Mississippi River;
AND WH.13REASO engineering reports establish that it is
proper# feasible and economical for the City of Hopkins, and
the Villages of Plymouth, Medicine Lake, Minnetonka, Deephaven,
'Woodl,and and :glen Prairie in H ennepin County to provide for
their ovn sanitary 30wr district and establish`,a seurage trent-
anent and disposal plant on the Minnesota Raver at Purgatory
Crnek;
AVD VIWMASg the said City of H opkins# and the Villages
of Plymouth, Medicine Lake, Minnetonka, Deephaven, Woodland and
Edon Prairie in Hennepin County believe the sewage disposal
needs of the said rear eetivo :municipalities are urgent and
teat the 1965 Lorislature should provide for the most feasible
and 4conomicc.1 .-.=mer of disposing of said sowaRo problems
