Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of
the Village Council was held in the Village of Plymouth on October 19,
1964, at 7230 o2clock P. X.
The following members were present: Mayor Staples, Trustees
Curtis, O'Fal.ion, Humphrey and Clifford; the following, xembers were absent2

Trustee Curtis introdLced the following resolution and moved its

Council that certain hazards and dangers have developed along Mimiesota
State Highway No. 101 from the intersection of County :toad 6 and Minnesota
State Hi..hway No. 101 and continuing southerly to the northerly limits of
the City of Wayzata, as a result of both vehicular and pedestrian traffic
along said Minnesota State Highway ?Jo. 101, and
11HEREAS, it is deemed to be desirable that such dangers and
hazards be reduced to the minirmuir and that the traffic speed limit of 50
MPH as presently in effect, be reduced,

That the present1r permissible speed licit of 50 ASH be
reduced to the rate of kO MM upon Minnesota State Hi&%-
woy No. 101 from the intersection of Hennepin County Road
6 and MLymesota State Highway No. 101 southerly to the
northerly limits of the City of Wayzata at Minnesota State
HiShway No. 101.
Notion for adoption of the above resolution was seconded by Trustee
Humphrey and upon vote I-eing taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Staples, Trustees Curtis, O'Fallon, 11imphrey and Clifford.
Absent: None. A£ainst: None. Dated October 19, 1964.
