Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular westing of the
Village Council was held in the Village of Plymouth on October 19, 1964 at
700 o'clock P. i;.
The followin_7 members were prese;.t: Mayor Staples, Trustees Curtis,
Mallon, Humphrey arra Clifford; the followinS members were absent: !done.

Trustee Curtis introduced the followin, resolution and moven itv
adoption:
NFEREAS, it has bean brought to the attention of the Village Council z;hat
certain hazards and dangers have developed at the entrance to the Grwnan
Steel Company premises located at 1605 Korth County Road 18 and also at
the entrance to the Gr -man Steel Company premises at County Road 70, and
IMMEASS it is deemed to be desirable that such dangers and hazards be
reduced to the minimum and that traffic control devices be installed at
said entrances to the Gruman Steel Company premises to promote the
general safety and welfare of persons using County Roads 18 and 70,

That at the entrance of Gruman Steel Company premises at 1605
North County Road l8 to County Road 18, and at the Gruman Steel
Company entrance to County Road 70, octagonal signs with the
legend, "Stop" fabricated in accordance with the manual and
specifications for the Uniform System of Traffic Control Devices,
adopted uy the Coami.ssioner of Highways of the State of kinneeota
under date of Kay 23, 1956, be erected at the entrances to County
Roads IS and 70 from the said Gruman Steel Company premises and
that the erection of said eigrs be done under the supervision and Q
control of the Chief of Police of the Village of Plymouth.
Motion for adoption of the above resolution was seconded by Trustee
Humphrey and upon, vote being taken thereon the following, voted in favor thereof i
Curtis, OeFallon, HwnpYrey and Clifford. Absent: None.
