HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1964-077VILLAGE Cf PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice therenf, a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, wan held on the 28th day of September, 1964. The following members were presents Mayor Staples, Trustnes Curtis, O'Fallon, Clifford and Humphrey; and the following members were absents None. Trustee O'Fallon introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 61.-77 "WHER AS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required b+ law, the council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the improvement of the following streetst S.W 29th Ave. N. Orleans Lane 61st Ave. N. 2nd Ave. N. 3rd Ave. N. Ranchview Lane Xenium Lane _40M Quaker Lane 28th Ave. N. Hemlock Lane Vicksburg Lane Vicksburg Lane C.S.A.H. 15 TO Orleans Lane 29th Ave. K. 1250' East Ranchview Lane Ranchview Lane 1481 North of 3rd Ave. N. 3071 North of Indus- trial Park T. H. 55 byi grading, base work and bituminous surfacing. NOW THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED BY TH]i VILLAGF COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLTMOUTHi 1. Such proposed assessment (as amended) a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the ]ands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be henefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of Lhe assessment levied against it. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual in- stallments extending over a period of 5 years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1965. Any deferred installments stall bear interest at the rate of 5 per cent per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1965. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any tine prior to certification of the assessment to the county auditor as herein provided, pay the whole of the assessment against any parcel with interest accrued to the date of payment to the village treasurer and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the county treasurer the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. 4. The clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the county auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists of the county, and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes." The motion to adopt said motion was seconded by Trustee curtAip and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Staples, Trustees Curtis, O*Fallon, Clifford and Humphrey; and the following voted against: None. The following were absent (abstained) from voting: None. Whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted.
