HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1964-073EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a r--gular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was duly held at the Village Hall on the 21st day of September, 1964, commencing at 7:30 o'clock P. M. The following members were present: Mayor Staples, Trustees Curtis, O'Fallon, Clifford and Humphrey; and the following members were absent: None. * Trustee _ Humphrey introduc3d the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 64-73 WHEREAS, pursuant to due and proper notice according to law, a public hearing was held by the Village Council at the Village Hall in the Village of Plymouth on the 21st day of September, 1964, at 7:30 o'clock P. N., to consider vacation of the following described portion of the following described street: and, All that part of 61st Avenue North, Morrison's Lakeview Addition, Village of Plymouth, lying East of a line which is at right angles to the centerline of said 61st Avenue North and 1300 foet Easterly of the intersection of Hemlock Lane and said 61st Avenue North. WHEREAS, at such hearing all persons desiring to be heard were given such opportunity, after which said public hearing was declared closed by the Mayor, NOW THEREFORT, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: "That all that part of 61st Avenue North, Morrison's Lake- view Addition, Village of Plymouth, lying East of a line which is at right angles to the centerline of said 61st Avenue North and 1200 feet Easterly of the intersection of Hemlock Lane and said 61st Avenue North, may be and hereby is declared to be vacated" The motion was seconded by Trustee OlYallon and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor of the motion: Mayor Staples, Trustees Curtis, O'Fallon, Clifford and Humphrey; the i4,11oving voted against,: None; whereupon said resolution was declared to be duly passed and adopted. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of said village held on September 21, 1964, with the original on file in my office, and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to the vacation of certain streets of the village.
