HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1964-059VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Resolution No. 64-yy Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 17th day of August, 1964. The following members were present: 'trustees Curti®, O'Fallon ii=phrey and vliffcrd. the following members were absent: Payor Staples. r Trustee numphrey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. WHEREAS, pursuant to due and proper notice according to law, a public hearing was held by the Village Council at the Village Hall in the Village of Plymouth on the 17th day of August, 1964 at 7:30 o'clock P. M. to consider vacation of the following described por- tion of the following described street: That part of 29th Avenue North as laid out in the 1 plat of Lake Park Acres which is more particularly described as fellows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot One (1), Lake Park Acres; thence East along a line parallel to thy: South line of said Lot One (1) a distance of 138.07 feet; thence South along a line parallel to the West line of said Lot One (1) a distance of 115.22 feet; thence Northwest along, the Southwesterly line of 29th Avenue North as shown in the plat of said Lake. Park Acres a distance of 158.0 feet to the point of beginning. and, WHEREAS, at such hearing all persons desiring to be heard were given such opportunity, after which said public hearing was declared cloyed by the Mayor, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCTL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: Commeneiog at the Northwest corner of Lot One (1), Lake Park Acres, thence Rast along a line parallel to the South U me of said Lot One (1) a distance of 109.07 tee:: thence South along a line parallel to the West line of said Lot One (1) a distsonce of 113." feet: thence Northwest along the Southwesterly line of 99th Avenue North as shorn in the plat of said Lake Park. Acres a distance of 136.0 feet to the point of beginning, nay be and hereby in declared to be vacated. The notion was seconded by Trustee Mallon and upon vote beim taken thervon, the following voted in favor of the notion: rusteoi Cu.—Lis, 0141.1eet, Hunphret and 4;Ufford. VILLAGE OF PLTMOUM I the undersigned, bating the duly qualified and acting clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached aid foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of said village bold on August 17, 1964, with the original on file in my office, and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom insofar as tha same relates to the vacation of certain streets of the village.
