The following members were present: Mayor Staples, Trustees 0*Fallon, Clifford and Humphrey; the following members were absent: Trustee Curtis. Trustee Clifford introduced the following resolution and move& its adoption: WHE MO, it has been brought to the attention of the Villag= Council that certain hazards and dangers have developed at the intersections of 2nd Avenue North and Vicksburg Lune and 3rd Avenue North and Vicksburg Lane, as a result of both vehicular and pedestrian traffic at such intersections, and IWM FM, it is deemed to be desirable that such dangers and hazards be reduced to the minimum and that traffic control devices be installed at such intersections to promote the general safety and welfare of persons using such intersection, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HrOOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MYNDUTH- "1. That on 2nd Avenue North, at its intersection with Vicksburg Lane, octagonal signs with the legend "STOP", fabricated in accordance with the manual and specifications for the uniform system of traffic control devices, adopted by the Commissioner of Highways ofthe State of Minnesota under date of May 23, 1956, be erected at both the East and West entrances of said 2W Avenue North to Vicksburg Lane and that the erection of said signs be done under the supervision and control of the Chief of Police of the Village of Plymouth, 2. That on 3rd Avenue North, at its intersection with Vicksburg Lane, octagonal signs Math the legend "STOP", fabricated in accordance with the manual and specifications for the uniform system of traffic control devices, adopted by the Commissioner of Highways of the State of Minnesota under date of May 23, 1956, be erected at both the Fast and West entrances of said 3rd Avenue North to Vicksburg Lane and that the erection of said signs be done under the supervision and control of the Chief of Police of the Village of Plymouth. f Attest:I Tillage Clerk whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
