Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 17th day of February,
1964.
The following members were present: Mayor Staples, Trustees Curtis,
O'Fallon, Humphrey and Clifford. Absent: None.
Mayor Staples introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth did, on August
IA, 1963, adopt Resolution No. 63-53, approving Sanitary Sewer Project No. 63-1,
relating to the construction of sanitary sewer trunk lines in the southern portion
of the Vil.Laae, and
WHEREAS, since August 16, 1963, the Village of Plymouth has been re-
strained by Order of the District Court of Henaepin County, Minnesota, from pro-
ceeding further with said Sanitary Sewer Project No. 63-1, and
WHEREAS, the Village Council did, on January 13, 1964, adopt Resolution
No. 64-10, by the tome of which Resolution all further action with respect to
Sanitary Serer Project No. 63-1 was suspended until further Resolution of the
Village Council, and
WHiCMS, Mayor boring M. Staples, Jr., did, at the regular meeting of
the Village Council on January 6, 1964, announce the establishment of a Citizens
Sever Advisory Committee to study the sewer problems of the Village of Plymouth
and consider feasible solutions thereto, aad
WHSRFAS, said Citizens Sewer Advisory Couumittee has been meeting and
studying said sewer problems and has recommended to the Village Council thatt
(a) Particular and prompt attention should continue to be given
to the idmediste sewage -disposal needs of the Minneapolis Indus-
trial Panic and as needs dictate, residential areas adjacent ,hereto
that may by study be determined to require wmicipal sewage disposal
facilities.
(b) Other areas of the Village of Plymouth are not a matter of
present concern and do not require immediate attention with respect
to the problem of sewage disposal.
(6) Sanitary Sewer Project No. 63-1 is not a feasible or practical
solution to the problem which do require attention.
(d) Sanitary Sewer Project No. 63-1 should be abandoned forthwith
and Resolution No, 63-53 adopted by the Village Council on August
UP 1963, should be withdrawn and rescinded.

NOW, THEREFORE, !E IT RESOLVED HY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE

1. Resolution No. 63-53 of the Village of Plymouth, adopted by the
Village Council on August 14, 1963, is hereby rescinded and Sanitary Sewer
Project No. 63-1 is hereby abandoned.
2. The Citizens Saxer Advisory Coemittee is urged to continue with
its study and report its further recomaendatione to the Council at the earliest
possible date.
The motion was seconded by Trustee Humphrey and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor of the motions Mayor Staples, Trustees
Humphrey and Curtis. Against# Trustees O'Fallon and Clifford.
Whereupon the motion was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting clerk of
the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully com-
pared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the
Village Council of said village held on Fabml&ry 17, 1964, with the original
thereof on file in n y office and the same is a full, true and complete trans-
cript therefrom insofar as the same relates to Sanitary Sewer Project No. 63-1
of the Village.
