RESOLUTION TABLING PTMENT SEWER PLAN
Whereas, the present sewer plan involving the expenditure
of $ 1,750,000.00, does not seem to be economically feasible at
this time.
Whereas, the present sewer plan creates an undue financial
hardship on many of the Plymouth taxpayers.
Whereas, a contract has not been consumated with Golden
Valley.
Whereas, the South metropolitan interceptor server line
location has not been settled.
Whereas, the recent election indicated an overwhelming
majority of the taxpayers were also against the present plan.
Now Therefore, be it resolved that the present sewer
plan be layed on the table and a continuing study be made to determine
a more economically feasible plan,; for those areas of the Village of
Plymouth which do now and will in the very near future need sewer.
Motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was
duly seconded bf Trustee Humphrey and upon vote being taken thereon
the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Staples, Trustees Curtis
and Humphrey. Against: Trustee Clifford. Absent: Trustee O'Fallon.
Whereupon said Resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted. rated January 6, 1964.
