HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1963-087a VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO, 63-87 RESOLUTION FILLING VACANCY CREATED BY RESIGNATION OF TRUSTEE REINAN Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Plymouth Village Council was held at the Village Hall on December 1.60 1963 at 7:30 o'clock P. M. The following members were present: Mayor Keefe, Trustees Curtis, OfFallon and Tart. Absent: None. Trustee Oa Fallon introduced the following heaDlution and moved its adoptions V1HEREAS, a vacancy has been declared to exist in the position of Trustee on the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth by the resignation of Trustee Jerome Reinan, pursuant to Resolution No. 63-86 adopted December 16, 1963, and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council to fill said vacancy by the selection of a person to serve until the next ensuing Village election in the Village of Plymouth, NCV1, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGL COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS: 1. That J. Beryl Clifford be appointed to serve as Trustee of the Village of Plymouth to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Jerome lteinan as Trustees 2. That, in accordance with the statutes of thA State of Minnesota, said J. Beryl Clifford shall serve until the next ensuing Village election in the Village of Plymouth and thereafter until his successor shall be duly qualified. Above Resolution was seconded by Trustee Tart and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in .favor ttereof: Trustees Of Fallon, Tart and Mayor Keefe. Abstained: Trustee Curtis. Whereupon said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, W&TIFICATION I, H. T. Johnson, being the duly appointed Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, hereby certify that the above Resolution is a true and correct copy of a Resolution duly adopted by the Village Council of Plymouth on the 16th day of December, 1963. That, in accordance with the statutes of the State of Minnesota, said J. Above Resolution was seconded by Trustee Tart and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereoft Trustees O'Fallon, Tart and Mayor Keefe. Abstaineet Trustee Curtis.
