HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1963-078EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR GE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH November Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was held on November 4, 1963, at the Village gall, commencing at 7:30 o'clock P. M. The following members were present: Mayor Keefe, Trustees Curtis, O'T'allon, Reinan and Tart; and the following members were absent: None. RBSQLMOM W7e Trustee idnan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, the Village of Plymouth did, on the 31st day of August, 1963, purchase certain lands for park purposes from Roland G. Schiebe and Marguerite L. Schiebe, and did receive from said Roland G. and Marguerite L. Schiebe a warranty deed for said lands; and WHEREAS, it has been ascertained that a portion of the legal description contained in said deed was in error, in that part of the premises conveyed to said village by said Schiebes actually belonged to H. C. Mayer is Sons, Inc.; and WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and desirable that this situation be corrected so that no problems will arise in the future regarding the extent to which the village owns the lands in question, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: That the Mayor and Clerk of said village be authorized and directed to execute a quit claim deed from the Village of Plymcâ–șuth -1- to H. C. Mayer h Sons, Inc., conveying the following described property to said H. C. Mayer h Sons, Inc., which property was erroneously deeded to the Village of Plymouth by said Roland G. and Marguerite L. Schiebe That part of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of the North- west Quarter (NW 1/4) and that part of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section 36, Township 118, Range 22, described as follows: Commencing at the point of intersection of the South- westerly line of old County Road No. 6 (now County Road No. 15) and the Southeasterly line of County Road No. 15 (old County Road No. 7), thence South- easterly along the said Southwesteriy line of said old County Road No. 6 a distance of 197.45 feet; thence angle right 90 degress a distance of 150.23 feet; thence Northwesterly a distance of 239.92 feet more Or' leas to a point on the Southeasterly line of said County Road No. 15, said point being a distance of 136.10 feet Southwesterly from the place of beginning; thence Northeasterly along said Southeasterly line of said County Road No. I5, a distance of 136.10 feet to the place of beginning. The above motion was seconded by Trustee Curtis and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Keefe, Trustees O'Fallon, Curtis, Reinan and Tart; and the following voted against: None; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
