Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the Plymouth Village Council was held at the Village gall in the
Village of Plymouth On tae 4th day of November, 1963, commencing at
7:30 O'clock P. M.
The following members were present; Mayor Keefe, Trustees edW"
Tr Curtis
O•Fallon, Reinan and Tart; and the following members were absent. x

Trustee --rt introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR
THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS FOR PARK PURPOSES
AND CALLING AN ACTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth
Minnesota, as follows:
1. The Village Council of the Village of Plymouth hereby
determines to issue bonds of the village as authorized
by Chapter 475 of the Minnesota Statutes. The amount
proposed to be borrowed is $200,000. The purpose for
which the debt is to be incurred is to provide money to
acquire and improve parks and playgrounds.
2. The question of issuance of bonds shall be submitted to
the voters of the village at the regular village election
to be held December 3, 1963.
3. The Village Clerk is authorized and directed to cause
printed ballots to be prepared for use at said election,
in which the proposition shill be stated in substantially
the following form:

MONEY AND ISSUE ITS NEGOTIABLE COUPON
GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS IN THE AMOUNT
OF NOT TO EXCEED $200,000 FOR THE PUR-
POSE OF PROVIDING MONEY TO ACQUIRE AND
IMPROVE PARKS AND PLAYGROUNDS WITHIN
SAID VILLAGE?

Instructions to Voters: Voters desiring to vote in
favor of the foregoing proposition shall make a cross
mark (g) in the square opposite the word YES. Voters
desiring to vote against the foregoing proposition
shall make a cross mark (B) iu the square opposite
the word NO.
4. The Village Clerk shall cause notice of said election to
be given by publication in the MINNETONKA HERALD, the
official newspaper of the village, at least two weeks
prior to said election, and by posting in at least three
public and conspicuous places in the village at least ten
days prior to said election.
5. The election shall be held at the usual voting place for
village elections, the judges and clerks shall be the
same as provided for the regular annual village election
to be held on said date, and the polls shall remain open
to vote upon said question for the same hours as established
for the regular village election.
6. The said election shall be held and conducted in accordance
with the statutes of the State of Minnesota applicable to
village elections, and the council shall meet as required
by law for the purpose of canvassing said election, and de-
claring the results thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Trustee �''- °ri and upon vote being taken thereon

whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that
I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of
minutes of a regular Meeting of the Village Council of said village
held November 4, 1963, with the original thereof on file iu my
office and the sauce is a full, true and ca:: plate transcript there-
from insofar as the same relates to a Resolution Providing for
the Issuance of Bonds for Park Purposes and Calling an Blectiou.
