VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
RESOLUTION REQUESTIN:, ESTABLISHMENT
OF WATER LEVET. FOR POMERLEAU LAKE
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular Meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was duly held on the 26th day of
August 1963.
The following members were present: Mayor Keefe, Trustees Curtis, O'Fallon
and Tart. Absent: Trustee Reinan.
Trustee Curtis introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, has re-
ceived complaints from property owners in the area of Pomerleau Lake in Sections
4 and 9, Twshp. 118, Range 22, that the water level has been consistently lowered
during the year 1963, and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth V illage Council is aware that the drainage ditch from
Pomerleau Lake has been dredged and cleaned of debris in order to lower the lake
water level,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH:
"That the Minnesota Department of Conservation investigate the
water level of Pomerleau Lake in Sections 4 and 9, Twshp. 118,
Range 22, to determine if the water level is below the average
level as recorded in the Minnesota Department of Conservation;
"That if excessive drainage is being made from Pomerleau Lake
on account of deepening of the drainage ditch, that the Minne-
sota Department of Conservation take thenecessary action to
discontinue the deepening of the drainage ditch in order that
Pomerleau Lake may be maintained at its average water level."
Mo;.ion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Trustee Tart and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Keefe, Trustees Curtis, O'Fallon and Tart. Against: Note.
Absent: Trustee R einan.
Whereupon said motion was declared duly passed and adopted. Dated
August 26, 1963.
