Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the Village Council of the 'Village of Plymouth was held on the 5th
day of August, 1963 at the Village Sall.
The following members were present
and the following members were absent:
The _%yor called the meeting to order at 7:30 o'clock P. M.
Trustee Reinan introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption.
WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of Minnesota in the course
of its 19a33 session did enact legislation enabling the Village of
Plymouth to le,y a tax of 5 mills on the dollar of the assessed valua-
tion of all taxable property in the Village for storm sewers and storm
drainage and,
WHEREAS, said legislation is identified as Chapter 29, Session
Laws of Minnesota for 1963 and,
WHEREAS, Section 2 of said Act provides that such legislation
shall become effective only after its approval by a majority of the
governing body of the Village of Plymouth, and upon the compliance
with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes 1961, Section 6:5.421 and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that the Village Council
of the Village of Plymouth do approve said legislation in conformity
with Section 2 of said Chapter 29,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVri- BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS:
That said Village Council does hereby ratify and approve
the provisions of Chapter 29, Session Laws of the State
of Mftnee►ota for 1963, permitting the Village of Plymouth
to levy a tax of 5 mills on the dollar of the assessed
valuation of all taxable property in the Village for storm
severe and storm drainage.
The above motion was seconded by Trustee offtllon and upon
vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor
thereof: Trustees Curtis, O'Fallon, 77!-,6., Tart and IAyor Keefe.

The following members abstained from voting:
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

1, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting clerk
of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, do hereby certify that the
above resolution relating to the approval by the Village Council of
the Village of Plymouth of Chapter 29, Session Laws of Minnesota
for 1963, is in all respects a true and correct copy of the original
of said resolution which is permanently on file as part of the
minutes of the regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of
Plymouth for August 5, 1963, and that said minutes have been duly
filed in my office.
